Hi all🙋🏻‍♀️,

HAPPY DUSSEHRA TO EVERYONE 🙏🏻!!!

Alongside bhoger khichuri, had to make some sweet and so made these simple 108 pedas for Maa Durga🙏🏻.

Recipe is very simple. I will be mentioning recipe for 50 pedas.. 10-12 gms each.

RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups milk powder

3/4 cup full cream milk

3/4 cup sugar.. you can go more by plus 1/4 cup but this 3/4 cup was wholesome for me.

1 tsp green cardamom powder

10 saffron soaked in warm milk

(Though I used saffron-cardamom infused milk)

Few chopped pistachios and dried rose petals and silver leaf to garnish

METHOD:

Take all the ingredients in a non stick pan except garnish. Mix well. Place the pan on a gas stove at medium flame.

The flame should be from medium to low. Keep stirring till you get paste type consistency. To check its doneness, you can take a bit of the dough, cool it and roll between your fingers. If it’s getting rolled into a ball shaped, it’s done.

Take the pan down from the flame and cool it completely. I placed the cooled pan in refrigerator and left it for 4/5 hrs. Now grease your palms with melted ghee. Take a portion of the dough and roll it between your palms. Press in the middle of the peda and garnish. Designs and sizes…you can choose any.

Now start gobbling😁😋.
